Special guests from the Lumina Foundation will join our first Career Readiness Collective Action Network meeting of 2019. 

Join us from 2-4 p..m. on Wednesday, January 23 at the Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Avenue.

• Get inspired by Lumina's "priorities for action" and come ready to voice your opinion about our next priority focus area to increase postsecondary attainment in Escambia County. 

• With the FAFSA Challenge seeing incredible success, we're ready for our second project!  This will be an interactive, action-packed session in which CAN members rank the priority factors influencing educational attainment - and then vote on a collaborative project to improve that outcome area.

• The Achieve Escambia team will also showcase a "science fair" of best practices from peers who are eliminating unfair educational outcomes and addressing equitable access to affordable learning beyond high school.
