FAFSA Completion Lab at Washington High School

  • Washington High School 6000 College Parkway Pensacola, FL, 32504 United States (map)

The Escambia County FAFSA® Challenge has kicked off for the 2018-2019 school year with a goal of increasing FAFSA completion rates by 5% for the graduating class of 2019 compared to 2018. FAFSA® completion is the first step in helping students finance post-secondary education. Achieve Escambia will host a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) Completion Labs to provide in-person guidance to any student wanting help with filling out the financial aid form. Achieve Escambia staff will be on hand to offer assistance and answer any FAFSA-related questions.

What to Bring to a FAFSA® Lab:

  • An FSA ID to sign electronically. Both the student and at least one parent needs an FSA ID.

Create an FSA ID here: https://fsaid.ed.gov

  • Your Social Security Number

  • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

  • Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
